Helpful for: Hind quarter support and maneuverability Objective is to support the hindquarters with as little as possible swing action of the canine body for a more controlled performance handling ability. The third wheel design feature provides excellent balancing control and support via transferring the center of mass and weight of the canine body to the frame of the wheelchair. This allows the canine to require less energy to operate and function in the wheelchair for an active life style. Postoperative spinal surgery patients would benefit from the physical support while not having to contend with undue stress on the spinal column or front legs when in a three-wheelchair design. The inability for patients to squawk and use the washroom in the wheelchair is not an issue long for most users, each patient learns at their own pace how to adapt and use the washroom, the capability to use the washroom is there. |
